Designed by Mark Browning Landscape Design in 2006, constructed in 2008 by Petal Landscapes.
Located in the heart of St Kilda, the rear garden to this property was in need of some love. The house was elevated giving the garden a somewhat sunken feel. Mark Browning Landscape Design was engaged to design a new garden with a classical feel. Our clients expressed a desire for structure, symmetry and a dominant central feature to the landscape.
Mark Browning Landscape Design chose a pallet of materials that worked with both the house and surrounding conditions. Recycled red bricks and random castlemaine slate were used for paving. Bluestone and granite were ulitilsed for the pond. Planting was classical with a deliberate "wildness" to it. Our clients loved the outcome and are now passionate about their once unloved yard.
